What campers say
Interstate State Park’s Wisconsin side offers varied hiking across wooded bluffs and geologic potholes, with scenic overlooks, picnic spots and a small swimming beach. Trails range from easy to steep and can be narrow or blocked in places, so watch for heights and challenging footing; some routes may be difficult for mobility scooters. Campground sites include electric hookups and generally clean restroom facilities and outhouses, though late-season water/showers can be limited. Dogs are welcome with area restrictions (e.g., not on beach/picnic areas). Note that day passes can be costly for out-of-state vehicles and parts near roads can be noisy.
