I stayed here the beginning of May 2023 for 5 days and absolutely loved it here. Close to PA Turnpike and the town of Somerset. Flight 93 Memorial is about 20 minutes away and a MUST SEE. During our stay our site was perfect due to the temperature and we had friends on both sides of us. Easy to level and decent size lots. However, no shade so I would definitely choose the shaded spots in July and August. The staff were very friendly, the store was nice but not stocked with much food but has plenty of camping gear and souvenirs. The camp is pretty much separated by the seasonal campers and the part timers. I will definitely stay here again.

What campers say
Hickory Hollow Campground is a well-maintained, clean park with friendly staff, tidy bathhouses, a small camp store and laundry facilities. Sites range from spacious pull-throughs to closer back-ins with limited shade, and there’s a fenced dog area and walking trail. A pool and seasonal activities (live music, bingo, ice cream) add family-friendly options, though pool hours are limited and there’s no lifeguard. The setting is rural and peaceful, convenient for the Flight 93 Memorial and Laurel Highlands attractions, but narrow winding roads make access less convenient for large motorhomes. Occasional events can generate extra noise.
