Well-maintained, scenic campground centered on a lake with easy access for boating, fishing, and hiking. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful, and the on-site store is convenient. Campsites tend to be spacious, especially primitive tent sites; some RV sites feel close together. Practical trade-offs include limited hookups (dump station and paid honey wagon service available), spotty cell service and no Wi-Fi, and variable restroom/shower cleanliness. Several visitors noted shoreline weeds, geese and occasional debris that can affect swimming or shore fishing. There are isolated reports of uncomfortable staff interactions, but those appear uncommon.
