This campground just reopened three months ago after being closed for 15 years. It's definitely a work in progress. It's conveniently right off I-80, has 15 sites, all pull-throughs with full hook-ups, dirt roads and sites. Small store, laundry, dog run and tent sites. Great sunsets and views. Close to town. Owners have their work cut out for them but they seem to know what they're doing.

High Point RV Park is a well-kept, convenient stop with spacious, level pull-through sites and full hookups that accommodate big rigs. Grounds, bathhouse, showers and laundry are consistently described as clean and functional (water outlets include freeze protection), and staff are friendly with easy online booking. Amenities include Wi‑fi, a dog area and a small store/gas nearby, plus elevated views. Practical tradeoffs: sites are gravel with little grass, interstate proximity means traffic can be noticeable to some, and occasional late-night activity or modest shower pressure has been reported by a few guests.
