Many visitors praise the scenic Black Hills views, full hookups and convenient dump station, making it a practical overnight or short-stay stop after Mount Rushmore. As a tradeoff, some guests reported occasional power limitations during busy holiday weekends, tight site geometry for large rigs, and intermittent issues such as feral cats, flies or lodging quirks (locks/linens).
