What campers say

Harrisville State Park is a well-maintained, peaceful campground set among cedar trees with easy access to a rocky Lake Huron beach that’s popular with rock collectors. Sites are shaded and many are generous pull-throughs, with modern, clean bathhouse facilities and reliable hot showers, though there is a single restroom building so some sites require a short walk. The beach includes a dog-friendly section. Expect rocky, sometimes slippery shorelines (water or boat shoes recommended); some sites can feel close together, and a nearby train is occasionally audible in the evenings.
