What campers say
Harris Park is a well-kept riverside campground popular for hiking, fishing and quiet riverfront stays. Sites sit on a large meadow with playground, picnic areas and hookups (water and 30A electric on many pads), and hosts are frequently praised. Visitors report excellent wildlife viewing and easy access to the South Fork Walla Walla River. Tradeoffs include limited utilities — no sewer and few or no showers — and spot layout can be tight in places. Trails require scrambling in sections and some routes have been washed out, and cell/wifi coverage is minimal, so plan accordingly.
