What campers say
Grayling Campground is a small, well-maintained site tucked into the White Mountains beside Big Lake. Multiple visitors note friendly, attentive campground hosts who keep facilities clean; there are flush toilets near the host site plus vault toilets elsewhere. Sites are shaded by pine, include picnic tables and fire rings, and are a short walk to fishing, boating and hiking along the lake. Reservations and first-come spots are available. It’s generally quiet and removed from the main road, though some guests have found sites close together and occasional ATV or rowdy noise can intrude. Good for those seeking easy lake access in a tidy, managed setting.
