What campers say
Grand Canyon Caverns Campground sits in a quiet high-desert setting with well-spaced, level gravel sites and a mix of hookups and dry camping. Visitors commonly praise friendly staff, clean showers/restrooms, a good on-site restaurant and the unique caverns tours — even an underground lunch option — plus dark skies for sunsets and stargazing. Practical tradeoffs: campground lighting is minimal, the dump station is off-site and sometimes hard to locate, and occasional maintenance has limited services. Wildlife sightings (rabbits, prairie dogs, coyotes) are frequently reported. Overall a solid, cared-for stop for RVs and tents.
