What campers say

Goose Lake State Recreation Area is a small, quiet campground with about 45-48 back-in sites; many offer water and electrical (20 amp) hookups. Sites are spaced with trees and a central grassy area; picnic tables and fire rings are provided. The bathhouse and showers are basic but kept clean, and helpful camp hosts staff the park. Expect heavy mosquitoes at times and limited access to the marshy lakeshore. The loop is first-come/first-served and some sites are short—long RVs may need to unhook. Dogs are allowed (leash generally required); cell service is limited and there’s no Wi-Fi.
