We have been coming to this Campground for years. It's a small, quiet place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of your daily routine. The Owner is friendly and provides a comfortable, safe place to stay. Only weekly and monthly reservations are allowed which keeps the "weekend party" folks away....this helps to keep it a quiet, family-oriented destination. The grounds are surrounded by beautiful trees so most of the sites offer great shade. We highly recommend this campground to anyone who isn't looking for frills, just a great place for relaxation and a great camping experience.

What campers say
Frontier Campground is a quiet, wooded, family-friendly site where many guests praise the accommodating, hands-on owner, clean restrooms, coin laundry, playground and trampoline. It's popular with long-term RVers and offers basic, low-cost options near trails, fishing and local shops. Tradeoffs include limited amenities beyond essentials, occasional maintenance or pool closures, and a cash/large-deposit policy. A few visitors reported strict enforcement of rules, disputes over pets, and water being shut off in colder months without notice. Overall it appeals to campers seeking a peaceful, budget-minded stay who can follow campground rules.
