Friends Creek Conservation Area is a quiet, well-maintained campground and trail network set off a paved rural road. Visitors appreciate large, shaded sites with grassy pads, clean shower houses and restrooms, and helpful on-site staff. Several trails (woodland, savanna, sun) and scenic bridges offer good walking and running options; an old schoolhouse provides seasonal tours. Some sites have electrical hookups, and there are water hydrants plus a dump station, but water isn’t available at every individual site — bring extra hose or fill tanks before arrival. Overall, a calm spot for families and rustic camping.
