What campers say

French Quarter RV Resort is prized for its unbeatable downtown location and short walk to the French Quarter, along with a gated, secure feel many guests appreciate. The park offers urban-oriented amenities — pool, hot tub, gym, clubhouse and laundry — and can accommodate large rigs. Common tradeoffs include premium nightly rates and added fees, occasional highway traffic noise, and intermittent maintenance or customer-service issues (reports of a nonworking hot tub, unlevel sites, or rigid policies). For travelers prioritizing walkability into New Orleans, the convenience often outweighs the drawbacks; those seeking quiet or budget options may prefer alternatives.
