The campground is convenient to I-40 and can work for overnight stops or short-term work stays, with room for larger rigs. However, it’s often described as crowded and uneven — sites can be tightly packed, gravel turns muddy when wet, and bathhouse comfort is limited. Management and maintenance are frequent concerns: delayed repairs, spot upkeep and trash pickup issues, billing/payment hassles and occasional mail security problems. Amenities are minimal (basic laundry/showers, no included internet) and pets/cats and dog waste are recurring nuisances. Expect tradeoffs between location and convenience versus upkeep and administrative reliability.
