Caney Creek RV Resort sits on the lake with plenty of waterfront views and a long list of amenities — pool, splash area, pavilion, dog park, playground, marina and golf-cart rentals — and many guests praise the clean, well-maintained grounds and helpful front-desk staff. The park is gated and popular, with numerous long‑term residents, so it can feel busy and a bit HOA-like; some visitors note strict rules, small site pads in parts of the park, and higher nightly rates. Laundry space and occasional water-pressure issues have been mentioned. Overall it’s a pleasant, family-friendly lakefront option if you don’t mind the tradeoffs.
