What campers say
Fort Chiswell RV Park offers convenient, easy on/off access from I-81/I-77 with long, level pull-through sites and full hookups that accommodate large rigs, often allowing you to stay hitched. Grounds and bathhouses are consistently described as clean, and staff are generally friendly with simple after-hours check-in. The park sits in a rural, peaceful setting with pasture views, a pool, and nearby gas and dining. Many visitors use it as an overnight stop, though you may still hear some highway traffic. A few guests also report usable Wi-Fi, making it suitable for short stays or light work.

📖 About This Campground

We have used Ft. Chiswell RV Park twice as a mid way over night stop from Ohio to Myrtle Beach. With being less than a 1/2 mile from the freeway exit, you don't get much noise from it because there is a hill in between the campground and freeway. The front of the campground has all pull-thru sites, the back 1/3 is mostly back in for shorter rigs. I think many people use it for the same thing. Nice level gravel sites, super clean showerhouse, pool. Can't remember the price, but I think it was very reasonable.
