I would say this campground is mostly used as a work camp for local oil workers. and other full-timers All sites are level. Bathrooms are nice and clean. It is one big gravel parking lot. Average space between RV's. Can be very windy here as many campgrounds are in WY. a little more so here as there are not many trees to break the path of the wind.

What campers say
Fort Caspar Campground offers a convenient, riverside setting with well-kept facilities and a friendly, helpful staff. Visitors commonly praise clean showers, laundry rooms, and a pleasant walking path along the river where turkeys, rabbits and deer are often seen. Tent sites are separated and there are dog runs and a lodge available for events with kitchen and restrooms. Sites are mostly gravel but generally level. Practical tradeoffs noted by some guests include higher nightly rates, occasional complaints about management or noisy neighbors, and reports of strong water pressure at some hookups.
