📖 About This Campground
Forked Pine Campground is located on the eastern shores of Ashurst Lake in the Coconino National Forest in Northern Arizona. The area is remote and beautiful, offering great views of the San Francisco mountains. Fishing at the lake is usually excellent when it isn’t too windy. Other outdoor activities include board sailing, OHV riding, horseback riding, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing.
Forked Pine Campground is a first-come, first-serve campground with campsites scattered along the shoreline. The campsites are not numbered and are mostly good for tent/car camping. Campsites are provided with tables, fire rings, and parking, and there are vault toilets throughout the campground.
