What campers say

Farm Island State Recreation Area Campground offers well‑maintained, roomy lakeside sites with clean restrooms and showers, playgrounds, biking trails, archery ranges, and a swimming/beach area. Many sites accommodate big rigs and provide 30/50 amp electric; on‑site water and a dump station are available (note nonresident park entrance fee applies). Visitors commonly praise the space between sites, grassy areas for dogs, and generally attentive staff and upkeep. Some guests reported issues including unleashed dogs, an unsanitary fish‑cleaning setup, occasional reservation mix‑ups where locals lingered on reserved sites, and seasonal service limitations. Overall a scenic, family‑friendly park with practical tradeoffs.

Very pretty campground with excellent spacing between sites. A boat launch is there as is a archery area. Only downside is the silly rates and rules of the State Park. Great vacation spot. Verizon 4G is good.
