Nice park in a pretty setting. Got packed during the weekend we visited with friendly families out to have fun. Only complaint, if you can call it that, is that each site has a firepit... we got smoked out! The river is scenic and the area historic. Verizon 4G was solid and we paid $40 per night.

Fantasy Island Campground sits on a pleasant island-like, waterfront location with easy access to nearby parks and town attractions. Staff are frequently described as friendly and the site offers a heated pool, pavilion, rec room, basic camp store, family activities and usable cabins. Tradeoffs include aging infrastructure: narrow, rough roads, crumbling concrete pads and generally tight, closely spaced sites that limit privacy. Opinions on bathhouses and hot water vary, and some hookups are awkwardly placed. Overall it can be a relaxed, affordable stop for short stays, but expect older facilities and cramped site layouts.

Small park with some nice seasonal sites right on the river. They even have their own docks into the water. Wouldn't mind staying here longer.
