    Most recent stay was 04/05/2016 – I’m “late” in posting my review ~ We camp in a “Tear Drop” style RV only 15′ long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area.

    All PROS – no CONS, just a perfect setting for a public campground without the crowding and commercialism of the private campgrounds you normally find at the privates. The best thing is, this Jackson County public facility has full hookups, asphalt pads, sturdy well maintained picnic tables with fire ring + a newer more modern bathhouse with hot showers that are full on ceramic tiled walls ~ individual private rooms with locking doors. There is a soap dish, hooks for your stuff and a bench in each room ~ wear your clogs. You have to enter another door in same building for the restrooms and sinks [wish they had hooks and shelves in there for your stuff]. The grounds are kept neat and tidy ~and~ you have a view of the lake from every site. Best campsites are in “The Point” campground #’s 12 thru 20 are excellent, but really there’s no “bad” site. Also – registered campers do NOT pay the $4.00 entrance fee ~ it’s included with your stay.
    Wish they had better signage directing you to “The Point” ~ as you enter the main part of the park, there IS a sign with an arrow, but it does not direct you to “the Point” it’s for a different campground in the park; you have to continue straight on the main road to reach “The Point”. When / if traveling through southern Oregon, we wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again ~ but strongly suggest making a reservation as it’s quite popular.

Emigrant Lake County Park in Ashland Oregon offers various recreational activities including RV/tent camping, fishing for bass, crappie, trout, boating, canoeing/kayaking, water skiing, swimming, picnicking, hiking, playing on the playground, or sliding down the refreshing 280-foot twin flume water slide. Multiple campground options. Open seasonally. The Point RV Park is now open year round!
