Eisenhower State Park is located on the border between Texas and Oklahoma with easy access from Highway 75 just 15 minutes away from Sherman, Tx. This park has a good marina but small beach access. The trails are well maintained. The sites are average, some leveling is required for our site but was manageable. Cellular service with Spring, TMobile, and AT&T wasn’t inadequate for streaming, but phone and texting services work very well. Amenities are limited unless you bring your own toys. Hiking was nice and the views were beautiful. The rangers were constantly patroling and were amicable. The facilities and surrounding area were clean but need maintenance. The dumping area needs new hoses. but it was clean.
