What campers say
Small, scenic campground on Dyea Road near Skagway, set beside the river and tidal flats with easy access to the Chilkoot Trail and historic Dyea townsite. Sites are quiet, well maintained, and include picnic tables, fire rings and tidy vault toilets; a friendly campground host is often present. There are no hookups and no reliable potable water (boil or bring your own), and the access road is narrow and rough in places. Donations or a small fee are customary; wildlife is common in the area so store food securely.
