Dworshak State Park sits on a large warm lake with mountain views and ample water access, making it popular for boating, paddleboarding, kayaking and family camping. Campground amenities include showers, flush toilets in loops, ice and firewood sales, boat launches and several docks, plus trails, a playground and group sites. Expect limited cell reception and spotty GPS guidance; the final approach is steep and narrow so plan accordingly. Some vault toilets can be less clean and near-shore swim areas may be muddy, so bring watercraft for better swimming access. Staff are reported helpful and responsive.

📖 About This Campground

Dworshak State Park is located among trees and meadows on the western shore of Dworshak Reservoir. Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, waterskiing and disc golf are just some of the many activities that await park visitors. A boat ramp and handling dock provide easy launching most of the year. A fish-cleaning station is nearby to help with the day’s catch.
