What campers say
Small, riverside campground set where the Dungeness and Gray Wolf forks meet, offering close river access, wade-able water, rocky beaches and pleasant forest shade. Sites are few and feel remote despite being roughly 20 minutes from town; rapids and river sounds are a common highlight. Amenities are minimal: picnic tables, fire rings and vault toilet(s), but no potable water and occasional latrine issues or temporary closures have been reported. Access is via a steep dirt road and is not ideal for trailers or large RVs. Summer insects can be noticeable. A modest nightly fee is charged.
