The Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center is a large, versatile event complex with ample parking, roomy RV/camp sites that can accommodate very long rigs, and a staff noted as friendly and helpful. It hosts a wide range of events—expos, concerts, horse shows and festivals—with plentiful food and drink options and generally clean facilities and restrooms. Practical tradeoffs include limited tree cover so shade can be sparse, and festival camping has at times felt crowded; some open-air barns have attracted starlings.
