This is a well-maintained campground with consistently praised, helpful staff who often go out of their way for guests. Facilities and bathhouses are clean and roomy; there are family-friendly amenities (play area, pool) and on-site food options including pizza and Thai, plus cabin and covered-wagon lodging. Practical tradeoffs include proximity to the interstate and occasional train noise at night, and some sites feel tight; pull-through sites work well for large rigs. Tent sites and parts of the dog-walk area can be close to roadside vegetation (cholla), so plan accordingly.
