What campers say
Deer Run Campground sits near the reservoir with easy access to a marina and boat ramp. Most guests find sites large and private amid tall juniper, good for family stays, star gazing and minimal highway noise; shade is limited and some sites are sandy or sloped enough to challenge RV leveling. Hosts are generally described as friendly and hardworking, and facilities — vault toilets and hot showers — are usually kept clean. However, several visitors reported reduced shower access, occasional cleanliness lapses, and crowding at facilities. Reservations are recommended.
