Sites are generally spacious with picnic tables, fire rings and lantern poles; many accommodate larger rigs and there are pull-through spots. On-site services include vault toilets, drinking spigots and an RV dump station. Roads are gravel but usually passable in a sedan; some sites can be uneven. The area is quiet and dark for good stargazing, and it’s a short drive to Mammoth Lakes and nearby hot springs. Occasional mice have been reported.
