it used to be a hidden gem, now you need to make reservations as far in advance as possible.
It gets hot, not alot of shade yet, as the rv side is still on the newer side, tent side has the best views and has sites along the water. It gets hot and not much shade there either.
Alot of folks complain bout the rangers doing their jobs, i dont mind the rangers keeping the noise and trouble out.
Lots of trails to walk, wildlife is abundant all year round.
