This large, family-focused campground offers many on-site activities—pool, ponds for fishing, miniature golf, playgrounds and a bounce pad—and features well-maintained grounds and bathhouses. Staff and owners are generally friendly and helpful, and services such as site pump-outs are available. Sites tend to be close together and many guests appreciate the gated entry and relaxed atmosphere. Practical trade-offs: some pull-through hookups and cabin supplies can be inconsistent, dump-station availability after busy weekends has been reported, and a few visitors mentioned minor nuisances (nearby train noise, limited campground Wi‑Fi). Overall, a kid-friendly, activity-rich stay with occasional infrastructure hiccups.

📖 About This Campground

Country Bend Campground is truly a hidden gem located just minutes from Exit 60 on I-55 In Litchfield, IL! The property has over 100 campsites, 13 cabins, a pool, four fishing ponds,  and a variety of activities to keep the kids and kids at heart busy!  There are a mixture of camping sites available to suit all different kinds of camping preferences which include tent sites, 30 and 50 amp sites, full hook up sites, as well as air conditioned cabins! Nestled in the trees sits an event center fully equipped to hold a special party or wedding reception with ample parking and lush meadows. Country Bend Campground is family owned and operated. The new owners have a passion for family, camping, and fun, and are excited to get the 2020 camping season started.  The campground is open April 1-November 1. We can't wait to meet you!
