Country Acres Motel and RV Park

Now called Sundance High Plains RV Park, this is a well-maintained park offering level, spacious sites. I even watched staff gather up the tumbleweeds to keep the grounds tidy. There is a nice dog park and rustic lodge available for guests. Laundry is reasonable ($1.75 wash, $2 dry) but is limited to office hours (i.e. 5 p.m. close) which could be inconvenient for evening arrivals. The guy with a mohawk comes across gruff but is helpful after you get past his exterior. The owner is friendly. The price was on the higher end of what I'd like to pay at $40 a night. They don't offer any discounts. Sites are easily accessed and the RV park is on the highway for super easy access. We would stay here again.

Offers a Passport America rate. This park has convenient pull thrus for use while traveling between Texas and Denver. We stop here going both directions and enjoy the accommodations.
