Colossal Cave Mountain Park in Vail Arizona offers primitive camping for short term stays only. Very inexpensive the campground, originally built by the CCC, consists of two large areas—El Bosquecito and La Selvilla—and a number of smaller ones, totaling about 30 individual sites. They have limited RV spaces call ahead for availability. Most areas have tables and barbecue grills. Water and restrooms are available in El Bosquecito and La Selvilla. Note this is primitive camping—water and restrooms are limited, there is no electricity or RV hook-ups. A scenic desert setting this campground is best suited to tent campers.
