What campers say

Collins Campground is a small, mostly riverfront, primitive site in the Duckabush Recreation Area near Brinnon. It’s peaceful with strong river sounds, nearby trails, a waterfall and good fishing—many campsites sit right on the river. Amenities are basic: vault toilets (bring toilet paper), no potable water or sewer/power hookups, and limited RV suitability. Access includes several miles of narrow, rough road with potholes and has been regraded in the past season. Mostly first‑come, first‑serve and quiet, though a few visitors have reported occasional people walking through sites, so be mindful of security.
