What campers say

Cape Perpetua Campground sits in a lush coastal forest with a creek and direct access to miles of trails and nearby ocean viewpoints, making it excellent for hikers and nature lovers. Sites vary: some are roomy and private, while many are tighter and close to neighbors. Facilities are basic—flushing toilets and spigots are available but there are no showers; bathrooms can be minimal. The campground is popular and often first-come-first-served, so plan to arrive early. Camp hosts sell firewood and are generally helpful. Expect a somewhat higher nightly fee compared with similar primitive sites.
