Cane Creek Park is a family-friendly, well-equipped lake park with paddling and kayak rentals, a trail around the water, playgrounds, picnic tables and grills, mini-golf, sports fields and a beach area. Campground spots include paved and gravel sites with power, bathhouses, a camp store (ice and basic supplies), visible staff and a gated entrance for added security. Grounds are generally clean, peaceful and dog-friendly. Practical tradeoffs: water quality can vary and some visitors report algae or bugs at times, and a few noted uneven paths and occasional inconsistencies in bathroom upkeep.
