This is the most maintained park we’ve ever seen, and the first county park we’ve ever visited. Extremely clean – very friendly and helpful staff. Everyone staying in the park was friendly as well. There were grounds crews working while we were there, and no mosquitos in the summer, which tells me that they treat the area. There are 2 campgrounds – One is flat and open – the other one has nice secluded sites up in the woods. The park is located on Lake Wylie, and there is a designated swimming area and a huge boat ramp which gets lots of use. Also they were in the process of surveying to re-vamp the entire area.

Beautiful scenery, clean and very well maintained bathrooms and grounds. The staff and guest were friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back again.
