Really long sites on historic route 66. Small office, no store or amenities. Full hook-ups, cable, wifi. Great location. We left something behind and the staff was nice enough to get it from the site and keep it in a safe place for us 'til we could return to pick it up.

What campers say
Cactus RV Park sits on historic Route 66 in Tucumcari and keeps the vintage motel buildings around its gravel RV spaces, giving a nostalgic feel. Sites are level pull-throughs with full hookups (30/50 amp, water, sewer) and are generally long and affordable. Guests report friendly, helpful staff and a quiet location within walking distance of local restaurants. Amenities are basic — some visitors note no on-site showers and variable Wi-Fi availability/hours — and a few sites feel narrow or have close sewer connections. Overall it's a straightforward, budget-minded stopover for short stays.
