Blaze-In-Saddle RV Park is in a great area, right on Route 66 off I-40. The new owners are really trying to fix it up. They have installed new electric and cleaned up all the 35 sites, which are all long pull through gravel sites. The trees are still small so there's not much shade but a great view of Tucumcari Mountain. They have horse facilities, a car wash area, laundry, small store, dog run, fire ring and tables at site. There's also a tent area.

What campers say
Visitors consistently praise the friendly, attentive owners and the park’s clean, well‑maintained grounds. The layout provides roomy full‑hookup sites with easy in/out access, quiet surroundings despite proximity to the highway, and conveniences such as a clubroom/game room, laundry, tidy individual showers, a fenced dog run, and horse stalls. Rates are described as fair, making it a convenient stop on Route 66. Practical note: management advises that water pressure can be high, so bringing a pressure regulator is recommended.
