What campers say

Burlington Bay Campground in Two Harbors sits on Lake Superior and offers many sites with strong lake views, beach access and short trails to the shoreline. Sites range from tent and hike-in spots to full-hookup RV pads large enough for 38-ft units; a newer layered section has paved roads. Amenities include heated shower houses, picnic tables and fire rings, a playground and an office store that sells firewood and ice. Staff are generally helpful and the location is convenient to town and state parks. Tradeoffs: sites can be close together and noisy from nearby Highway 61, and rates are on the higher side.
