What campers say

Bootleg Campground offers spacious, well‑shaded sites and is popular with both tent campers and larger RVs. Sites are generally spread out with large fire rings; many reviewers note clean restrooms and potable water but limited amenities (no showers, primitive facilities). The campground is first‑come, first‑served, with a modest nightly fee (around $24–$28) and on‑site host(s); payment is often cash or check. It's quiet overall, with occasional daytime road noise, and the Walker River is just across the highway for fishing. Expect wildlife like chipmunks and deer and limited cell signal.
