There is no beach here for kids - water is 50' deep from the dock, and kids can't go near the water without a life jacket! My kids were too scared to swim - and were over-charged by the owner for a paddle boat rental. Freight train goes right by here every few hours blowing it's horn - actually shakes your RV - scares you awake in the middle of the night. Water wasn't working at our site, but we were charged for full hookup and told to hook up to the water in the site next to us by the less-than-friendly and very opinionated campground "helper". We could only handle 2 nights here, paid for 6 - small print says "no refunds" on a link attached to the website. Didn't see this until it was too late. Would not recommend advance reservations until you take a look for yourself - especially if you want a beach, andor peace and quiet. Clean bathrooms, lots of neat places to hike and sight see near here. If you can't swim, can't hear, and have money to burn - this is the place for you!
