Black Bear RV Park is a small, wooded and gated RV park that guests consistently describe as quiet and peaceful. The grounds, roads and trails are well kept and staff/ownership are helpful and responsive. Sites tend to be level but on the smaller side, and on-site amenities are minimal at present — the park is undergoing changes under new ownership. It’s convenient for nearby attractions and even a base for trips toward the city, but travelers should note highway weight restrictions and occasional reports of electrical or hookup limitations that may make it less ideal for very large rigs.
