What campers say

Black Beach Campground offers lakeside, spacious and generally private sites with picnic tables and easy boat-ramp access. Many sites have lake views, but the terrain is rocky and steep so sites are often uneven—better suited to RVs than tents—and can be windy. Vault toilets are available and often reported as clean, though facilities are limited and not frequently serviced; there is no on-site potable water. Raccoons are a common nighttime nuisance, so secure food. Fishing reports vary, and a few visitors mentioned occasional litter and lax enforcement of rules; some found online reservations awkward.
