This review is for the tent campsite. Save your $20 and go elsewhere. This place is located about 100 yards from the highway so it is very loud. We arrived after the office was closed. Apparently you must have a key for the restroom as they are locked. The tent sites are next to a pond where there is a multitude of mosquitoes. The tent site is just grass so if it rains your tent will likely get wet. No base with gravel like any reasonable place would have. Also no Wi-Fi as advertised. The place looks like and feels like a dump.

What campers say
Reviews for Bitterroot Valley RV and Campground are mixed. Several guests praise the owners as welcoming and the park’s community feel, with convenient proximity to Hamilton and pleasant grounds for long-term residents. However, many reports cite maintenance and cleanliness problems—broken laundry machines, dog waste, and locked or inconsistent office/restroom access—and note poor communication and refund disputes. A number of reviewers say the property feels more like a mobile‑home/long‑term park than a typical short‑stay RV park; tent sites near the highway were described as noisy and mosquito‑prone. Consider it for longer stays if you value community, but be cautious as a short-term campsite.
