We stayed at Bitterbrush for 2 wks. Your camp hosts were very rude and displayed a very unprofessional attitude. Their only concern was to collect camp site money. The restrooms were not cleaned, even though the host signed the clean up sheet. In my opinion would be falsifying documents. We finally got together and did the cleaning ourselves. It seemed that they could not keep track of the campsite collections. Some of us ended up paying twice. We hope you will look into to the matter. It would be great if the campsite would have 2 trash bins instead of 1. One bin filled up very fast.

What campers say
Bitterbrush Campground is a well‑kept, creekside spot with mountain views and a peaceful feel. Sites are first‑come, first‑served (no reservations) and commonly include a fire ring, picnic table and bear box. Vault toilets are available and host staff tend to keep the area clean, but water and trash service are sometimes shut off in the off‑season, when camping may be free. There’s little natural shade so sites can get hot in summer, and there are no showers. It’s a short drive from Bishop and nearby lakes, making it convenient for fishing and day trips.
