What campers say

Big Eddy Park is a family-friendly, well-kept riverfront campground with easy river access for swimming, floating, fishing and kayaking. Sites generally have hookups (30/50 amp, water and some sewer), two picnic tables, trash cans and clean heated restrooms/showers; hosts are often helpful and sell firewood. Be aware of tradeoffs: loops are relatively tight with limited privacy, some sites sit close to the highway (early truck noise reported) and cell service can be spotty. A few guests noted occasional electrical hookup issues, yellow jackets and slightly off-tasting tap water — bring drinking water and insect traps.
