📖 About This Campground

Bernie & Sharon's Riverfront RV Park in Garrison Montana (9 miles north of Deer Lodge) offers full and partial hookup RV and tent camping adjacent to the highway and Little Blackfoot River. Easy access pull thru sites can accommodate any size of RV and trailer combination with 20, 30, and 50 amp connections on each electric post. Mowed grass sites throughout the park lend a peaceful setting to this rural RV Park and campground. Tent campers are welcomed with a grassy spot to pitch a tent and clean restrooms and recreation room to clean and relax in. Located at the junction of US 12 (to Helena) and Interstate 90 between Butte and Missoula East bound I-90 travelers use exit 174 and West bound I-90 travelers use exit 175. Bernie & Sharon's Riverfront RV Park is convenient to the historic Deer Lodge downtown and Grant Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site (in fact you can see cattle on the distant ranches grazing) and provides an excellent location for both overnight and seasonal guests. A secret of the park is that many RVers in the know use the Riverfront RV Park as a seasonal summertime retreat. Walk down to the river a few steps from the campsites to fish for Trout or cross the little used rail-spur to look for Moose and Beaver in the natural lake. An onsite non-denominational chapel offers Sunday service along with special events as scheduled.

This Campground is one of the nicest we have used. Spotless and the people are so friendly and the view is spectacular. I highly recommend this beautiful campground

Plain but nice campground, full hookups, right off I-90, good for short stay

This park officially goes down as one of our hidden favorites. Located in the country just 10 miles north of Deer Lodge and easily off I-90 the place is perfect. We paid only $28 per night for full hookups in a site that was long enough to fit two of our rigs in it. Staff was a bit confused when we first arrived because they had lost our reservation but luckily the owner is a bit of a tech renaissance in the RV industry and uses text based confirmations; I simply showed them my text and they apologized for the confusion. Description above pretty much sums it all up. Only issue is that the park is on the fringe of (Verizon) 4G meaning we had to use an amp to get 4G otherwise it is relatively fast 3G. We didn't learn about the pond across teh tracks until our last day so don't make our mistake. Apparently Moose and Beaver call it home so check it out.

This is one of the Best campgrounds you could pick to stay at. YOU WILL BE HAPPY! We will come back when in the area. The nondenominational church on site was great to attend since we were there on a Sunday. Wonderful Experience!
