Owners and staff are frequently described as friendly and actively improving the site; laundry and washroom have been updated. Many guests appreciate the roomy RV spots and proximity (about 8–10 minutes) to stores and nearby state-park hiking. Tradeoffs include occasional highway noise for some sites, limited shared bath facilities, and burrs that can bother pets. Amenities such as Wi‑Fi are limited for now, which some feel makes the price less competitive.
