Baja Campground is a small, free dispersed legal site that can accommodate about 4-5 vehicles or groups with reasonable spacing. Access is a roughly 4-5 mile dirt road taking around 20 minutes, including some steep paved uphill sections. The site is bare-bones, with a couple of tables and a fire pit, and functions as a single-site camp, so it may suit visitors seeking solitude. Nestled near a small creek and surrounded by hills, it is sheltered from wind and generally peaceful. It is also convenient for OHV riders and is used by hunters.
